We are a really good team and everyone of us knows what the other can do better. Marc is a chef with all his heart and responsable of our kitchen team. You will find flavors of all over the world in his dishes. Mara is mostly around the restaurant but sometimes also at the reception. As a sommelier she will be happy to provide you with a wine recommendation. Together with her mother Marlene, they are the hosts at the Weisses Kreuz. Always present but never intrusive. Marlene is also a little mountain princess - she accompanies our guests on foot or by bike and gives particularly good mountain tips. Father Thomas prefers working behind the scenes, he is responsible for the whole house technic and the garden. Additional he's driving around our guest in our hotel own shuttle. His sister Beate is always ready to help wherever needed and her daughter Hannah is responsable for our reception. And as a member of the local council and the tourism board, brother Joachim acts as the Theiner family’s “foreign correspondent” of sorts. His wife Justa holds the reins at our delicatessen “Genuss am Platz” and the cosy village pub in the Mansion zum Löwen , and she has drawn attention to our spaces with her sense for stylish decor.

Friendly, professional and helpful – that describes the staff on reception. Beate Theiner, hotel owner Thomas’s sister, knows our hotel in Burgeis like the back of her hand. Imelda is not only a natural at organisation, but she’s also well versed when it comes to social media. And our newest addition, Hannah, is just starting out on reception.
Young and dynamic is our service staff! Monika is the longest member and she knows nearly all of our guest. On her site you will meet Melanie, very lovely and helpful. New in our team is our genial Marina and barkeeper Stefan, who treats you with a refreshing cocktail. After a 13 years break also Daniela is once again a member of the Weisses Kreuz. Katja, Elias und Jasmin are our trainees and step by step they become very attentive staff member. Early in the morning you will meet Ilona, she is responsable for all the breakfast goodies. And when more hands are needed, we can always count on our temporary staff - Saskia and Lenka.

A Break from the Daily Grind
Aura mea – a whole world of well-being in our hotel in Burgeis. Our spa manager Magdalena and cosmetician Miriam are experts in relaxation, wellness and beauty. Our sauna attendant Dietmar provides a proper steam session twice weekly.
Angelika, Lenka, Monika, Eva and Elena are our good fairies. They diligently and tirelessly ensure a thoroughly comfortable atmosphere in the rooms and suites in our hotel in Burgeis and in the Mansion zum Löwen.
For the daily changing delicious menues our head chef Marc is responsible with his seven headed team. Together with entremetier Fabian, gardemanger Martin and patissier Kevin he creates real enjoyments. They are supported by our trainees Rafael and Stefanie. For the breakfast our chef Hansjörg takes care and Jan and Blessing keep everything clean.

Tanned and always in a good mood: that’s how we’d describe our guide Edl. Our local expert is a veritable walking encyclopaedia when it comes to the Alps, and he can feel any coming shifts in the weather in his bones. Mara Theiner’s father-in-law Hansjörg provides our hotel in Burgeis with his hand-made delicacies – from fresh grass-fed butter to forest honey.
